The Virginia Initiative for Employment not Welfare (VIEW) program offers job support, training and other services to help families move toward independence.
After completing the program, some families may continue to receive support for up to 12 months. This may include health coverage, child care, transportation and job support.
In January 2022, the program received a one-time federal supplemental payment related to COVID-19 ($13.3 million). This amount is not included in the regular payment totals.
