VDSS works closely with community groups, faith‑based organizations, nonprofits and local departments of social services across Virginia. Together, these partnerships help us combine our strengths and resources in efforts to better support individuals who need help the most.
We are always looking for new ways to partner with private, volunteer and community organizations. By sharing information and working as one team, we strengthen the Virginia Social Services System (VSSS) and expand the network of services available statewide.
We also provide research support and help guide strategic planning for both VDSS and the broader VSSS. Our goal is to build a stronger, more connected system that offers hope, stability and opportunity for every Virginian.
