Virginia Restaurant Meals Program

The Virginia Department of Social Services (VDSS), in partnership with the U.S. Department of Agriculture, offers the Virginia Restaurant Meals Program (VRMP) to help make mealtime easier for individuals and families who need it most.

If you receive Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits and you are elderly, living with a disability or without housing, and this includes your spouse, you may qualify to purchase hot, prepared meals at participating restaurants using your EBT card.

Just look for the Virginia Restaurant Meals Program logo when dining out. This program is another way the Virginia Department of Social Services is working to expand access to healthy, ready-to-eat food options so that you and your loved ones can focus on what matters most, your well-being.
