Clearing Browser Caches

Clearing your cache can fix loading or display issues in the VLC.

Google Chrome

Steps

  1. Open Google Chrome.
  2. Click the three dots in the top right corner.
  3. Select Clear browsing data.
  4. Choose a time range. Select All time to clear everything.
  5. Check these boxes:
    1. Browsing history
    2. Cookies and other site data
    3. Cached images and files
  6. Click Clear data.

Microsoft Edge

Steps

  1. Open Microsoft Edge.
  2. Click the three dots, then select Settings.
  3. Select Privacy, search, and services.
  4. Scroll to Clear browsing data.
  5. Choose a time range. Select All time to clear everything.
  6. Check these boxes:
    1. Browsing history
    2. Download history
    3. Cookies and other site data
    4. Cached images and files
  7. Click Clear now.

Tip

After clearing your cache, close and reopen your browser before returning to the VLC. This helps ensure the changes take effect.
